In close neighbourhood it is possible to make a trip to skanzen Zubrnice, Chlumec (battle field from Napoleonic war), ski resort Telnice and especially Hřensko (part of national park Czech Switzerland) with its pictorial passes and boat trips.

You should not forget visiting Terezín memorial.
